Über die Autorinnen und Autoren
Shigeru Ban (geboren in Tokyo 1957) studierte am Southern California Institute of Architecture und machte seinen Abschluss an der Cooper Union School of Architecture in New York. 2014 gewann er den Pritzker-Preis. Er lebt und arbeitet in Tokyo, Paris und New York.
Philip Jodidio studierte Kunstgeschichte und Wirtschaftswissenschaften in Harvard und war über zwei Jahrzehnte lang Chefredakteur der französischen Kunstzeitschrift Connaissance des Arts. Zu seinen Veröffentlichungen bei TASCHEN gehören die Reihe Homes for Our Time sowie Monografien über zahlreiche bedeutende Architekten, darunter Norman Foster, Tadao Ando, Renzo Piano, Jean Nouvel und Zaha Hadid.
