Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Richard Prince wurde 1949 in der Panamakanalzone geboren. Er ist Maler, Fotograf und Collagist und bekannt als kritischer Beobachter der amerikanischen Konsumkultur und Meister der Appropriation Art.

Dian Hanson hat von 1976 bis 2001 verschiedene Herrenmagazine produziert, darunter Juggs, Outlaw Biker und Leg Show, bis sie 2001 schließlich Herausgeberin der TASCHEN Sexy Books wurde. Zu ihren mehr als 60 Büchern für TASCHEN gehören The Art of Pin-up und Psychedelic Sex. Sie lebt in Los Angeles.

Richard Kern wurde 1954 in North Carolina geboren; seit 1979 lebt und arbeitet er in New York. In den 1980er-Jahren drehte er eine Reihe von Kurzfilmen, die als Hauptwerke des Cinema of Transgression gelten. In den 1990er-Jahren wandte er sich der Fotografie zu und führte seitdem nur noch gelegentlich Regie, u. a. bei Musikvideos für Sonic Youth und Marilyn Manson.
