The exponential growth of the interconnection networks transformed the communication primitives into an important area of research. One of these primitives is the one-to-all communication, known as broadcasting. Its presence in areas such as static and mobile networks, Internet messaging, supercomputing, and virus spreading, shows the relevance of this primitive.The book focuses on the study of interconnection networks from the perspective of broadcasting under the 1-port constant model. The first chapter introduces the minimum broadcast time function and an iterative algorithm for the minimum broadcast time problem. The second chapter is concerned with measuring the size of the minimum broadcast time problem. The third chapter presents a study of the spectra of Knödel graph and their applications. The last chapter introduces a new measure for the fault tolerance of an interconnection network, called the global fault tolerance.
