Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Françoise Tétart-Vittu studierte Kunstgeschichte an der Sorbonne und spezialisierte sich auf Kleidung des 18. und 19. Jahrhunderts. Sie war lange Jahre am Musée Galliera, Musée de la Mode et du Costume de la Ville de Paris, Leiterin der Grafischen Abteilung und Kuratorin. Außerdem ist sie Autorin mehrerer Bücher über die Geschichte der Kleidung.
