Über die Autorinnen und Autoren
Alessandro Benedetti comenzó a coleccionar discos coloreados e inusuales en 1981 y hoy posee 8.000 álbumes, incluyendo 1.200 discos de vinilo en color. En 1998 su colección ganó el reconocimiento del Libro Guinness de los Récords. Su sueño es abrir un museo discográfico para compartir su colección con el público.
El productor y compositor de canciones italiano Giorgio Moroder contribuyó a crear la música electrónica de baile y ha trabajado con Donna Summer, David Bowie, Janet Jackson, Barbra Streisand y muchos otros. También fundó los Musicland Studios en Munich, a veces usados en interpretaciones legendarias de Led Zeppelin, Queen y Elton John.
Peter Bastine ha sido DJ, vendedor de discos y organizador de conciertos. De 1977 a 1998 coleccionó toda clase de picture discs; desde entonces, mayormente discos históricos de 78 rpm. Hoy su colección abarca unos 8.000 picture discs y ha sido objeto de diversas exposiciones en Europa.
