Margarete Jahrmann lehrt seit 2006 als Professorin für Game Design an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste. 2019 trat sie als Professorin für das Artistic Research PhD Program der Universität für Angewandte Kunst an. 2020 beginnt sie am Zentrum Fokus Forschung mit der Leitung eines Forschungsprojektes zu "Neuromatic Game Art" an der Universität für Angewandte Kunst Wien und kuratiert laufend Ludic-Society Soirees in Wien. Sie hält an internationalen Konferenzen Vorträge und nimmt an Ausstellungen zu Forschung, Neurowissenschaften, Game Design und Kunst teil.
