Embedded systems are now key technologies for our future society, and various researches have been done. These researches enable designers to evaluate and implement an architecture such that designers really want, easily. Then new problem is approaching to us, that is, how to find a good solution fast. Architecture exploration from vast solution space is an aggressive challenge for embedded system design. The architecture exploration brings designers only to choose the best architecture they really want from obtained Pareto curve. Productivity will be drastically improved. This book describes leading edge architecture exploration methodology for reconfigurable processors. The technology for "exploration" would bring new values not only for embedded processor designers, but for people in another field. However, proposed method is just first cut for exploration method, and a lot of possibilities are underlying. We hope this research brings new values to readers for our future.
