Human activity in the form of deforestation and forest degradation are the primary drivers of carbon emissions from forests. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Wassajja Emmy is an alumnus of the Ford Foundation. He earnedhis MA in Sustainable International Development from the HellerSchool, Brandeis University-USA (2006), an Msc. in Environment,Makerere University. Emmy currently works with the NationalEnvironment Management Authority in Uganda as a District Supportofficer/Environmental Inspector.
