The conventional survey methods are complex and costly to countries that are struggling to meet basic needs of their people. This book is written for governments, NGOs, service providers and individuals involved in the provision of disability services and who would need active participation of the local community for continuity and sustainability.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Joseph K Gona works with KEMRI-Wellcome Trust, Kilifi, Kenya as a disability and rehabilitation researcher. Before joining KEMRI-Wellcome Trust, he worked as a special education teacher, and later as an assessment teacher for children with special needs. He has a MSc degree in community disability studies from University College London.
