HIV/AIDS is globally recognized crises of the century,it's developmental evil of poor counties that gestures its broom to brush off human beings from the face of the earth on human beings, particularly in Africa and other developing countries. The absence of medical remedy against HIV&AIDS has posed economic, social, political, and psychological maladjustments and challenges on each and every sector, institution, society and country whether small or large, rural or urban, industrialized or non-industrialized, rich or poor, despite its location on the global map. The pandemic has killed(&still it is indeed killing though reduced magnitude due to life prolonging medicament and psycho-social support therapies) some 2 million Africans in 2005,has reduced life expectancies in the affected countries. Yet the impact of HIV& AIDS extends far beyond its first order effect on longevity.In some areas, AIDS has wiped out a substantial fraction of prime age labor force(15-50 years of age). By robbing nations of the greatest wealth and their people, AIDS drains the human capital and institutional capacities that fuel development.This book enlightens any one who work with human resource.
