A book on micro finance interventions has been written to serve as a guide for those involved in the provision and management of micro finance to Micro and small enterprises (MSEs). It clearly brings out the perception of lenders while appreciating that Micro and small enterprises (MSEs) play an important role in employment generation and poverty alleviation in Kenya and other developing countries. The book introduces the context of micro finance in Kenya in chapter one. It further examines the theoretical and empirical evidence in chapter two. In chapter three the methodology for the study is explained. In chapter four the results are presented and they give a critical assessment of the interventions and in chapter five a summary, conclusion and recommendations of the study are presented. Areas for further research are suggested.
