Double-base number system approach has been used in improving the speed of elliptic curve cryptosystems. Dr. Jithra Adikari received the PhD degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Calgary, Canada. He is currently working as a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of Waterloo, Canada. Dr. Vassil Dimitrov obtained his PhD degree in mathematics from the Institute of Mathematics of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in 1995.
