Some pesticides are biodegradable, i.e. These are broken down into less harmful components by living organisms. Specific genes called Pesticides Degrading Genes (PDGs), in these living organisms are responsible for degradation of pesticides. Cloning of these genes in rapidly growing organisms can work to eradicate pesticides contamination during the process of bio remediation.
