Accessing Internet has been increasing very rapidly as it has got considerable implications for teaching, learning and research. In universities, teachers and students are depending more and more on the Internet for their various educational purposes. Internet facility in the libraries has become an inseparable service to bridge the gap between the library users and resources. An attempt has been made in this book to present the results of the study on the existing Internet service scenario in the university libraries in Assam and how the users are availing it. The study also explored the satisfaction level of the users with the Internet facility provided by the university libraries under study. The book has been divided into seven main chapters.
