Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Irene Ziehe, Dr., geb. in Potsdam. Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Museum Europäischer Kulturen Staatliche Museen zu Berlin. Studium der Ethnographie an der Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. Arbeit an verschiedenen Museen und Institutionen. Seit 1989 am Museum für Volkskunde, heute Museum Europäischer Kulturen, Kuratorin u.a. der Fotografischen Sammlungen. Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Fotogeschichte, speziell ethnographisch/ethnologische sowie Amateur- und private Fotografie. Lebt in Berlin.
