These color palettes are categorized by images usually associated with each color scheme. A total of 2,500 unique color combination samples are offered by presenting two-, three-, four-, and five-color combinations.
Each color palette featured is accompanied by a clear explanation of the meaning of each color used, important points about the colors, and even a list of useful phrases describing each color to help with presentations.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Naomi Kuno is the director of the color planning and design firm, FORMS Inc., Tokyo. She has been engaged in further revitalization of research and development of "SUTRA.," which is a database of color names and images developed by FORMS Inc. Utilizing the color database, she provides consultation on color analysis, development, and marketing and overall color-focused planning and design. Her major publications include: Color Inspiration (Kōdansha), Colorscape (Harper Collins Publishers), Tasteful Color Combinations (Graphic-sha Publishing), Expanding Your Ideas! Color Arrangement Variation Book (Graphic-sha Publishing).
