Herbal cosmetics are the preparations used to enhance the human appearance.The purpose of this research work is to formulate and evaluate cosmeceutical containing Royal Jelly. According to World Health Organization (WHO) about 80% population of most developing countries still rely on traditional herbal medicines for their primary health care needs. Keeping the vision of more preference to natural and bee products, in this work the Royal jelly: a bee product has been chosen to formulate cream as it is a good source of flavonoids, proteins and has potential for antioxidant and sunscreen activity which can prove to be a better cosmeceutical.

Shital Purohit completed M. Pharm (Pharmaceutics) from SGB University, Amravati, India in 2016. and started career as Assistant Professor at S.N. Institute of Pharmacy, Pusad, India. She has published research articles in International journals.This book is about her Master's thesis of designing a Novel cosmeceutical product by using Royal Jelly.
