This book discusses the production of light-weight concrete with (20.8 MPa) compressive strength using local materials and investigate the bond behavior of this type of concrete with grouted reinforcing bars in addition to conventional concrete with compressive strength (24.8 MPa). Three parameters were investigated in this study; bar diameter, embedded bar depth in light-weight concrete and conventional concrete and specimen width. A total of (72) pull-out specimens were studied; (24) specimens were cast with conventional concrete, (24) specimens were cast with light-weight concrete, and other (24) specimens were cast with grouted light-weight concrete.

Aamer Najim Abbas is an assistant Professor in Civil Engineering department/College of Engineering/ University of Mustansiriyah. He has done a lot of research in the branch of Structural Engineering, in addition to participation in many conferences.
