Recently the increasing demand for improving channel capacity value has attracted the researcher to work in this direction and use MIMO wireless communication system. Researchers contribute various algorithms to improve the channel capacity in wireless communication. However, to achieve improved channel capacity we may need to have detailed knowledge of the channel. So in this work my aim is to estimate the channel in an MIMO wireless environment. The overview on basic techniques for channel estimation is given here. In this work, we estimate different channel parameters such as amplitude and phase and the results are compared with the ideal parameters. Here Maximum Likelihood Technique (MLE) is used to estimate the channel parameters.

Pardhu completed his B.tech from MLR Institute of Technology in 2011 and M.Tech from Vignan University in 2013. He is Pursuing Ph.D in the Stream of RADAR Signal processing from VIT University. He previously worked as Research Intern at Research Center Imarat, DRDO. He is working as Assistant Professor at MLR Institute of Technology, Hyderabad.
