The content of the book "Faith and the effort to pass it on" consists of three main chapters. In the first, faith is discussed as the work of the healing God and is presented as a mutual, divine-human relationship, the initiator of which always remains God. The second chapter focuses on the truth that faith as the real work of God is at the same time an authentically human act and thus also the work of man. Faith is a divine gift, and when man, in his freedom, chooses to accept this gift, it gives direction and meaning to his life. The acceptance of faith and its diffusion is the theme of the third chapter. The task of spreading the faith is not reserved to a few chosen ones. The Church as a whole is called to accept the faith and to spread it, especially in the face of the great changes in the world today. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

P. Stanislaw Rutka was born on 1 July 1956 in Kamienica (Limanowa District, Poland). In 1978 he entered the Congregation of the Most Holy Redeemer (Redemptorists). In 1986 he was ordained priest. After his ordination he was pastor in Elbing and in Wartha in Poland. In 1991 he began his pastoral activity in Kalzhofen/Oberstaufen in Bavaria.
