The book is originally the author’s master’s dissertation in knowledge sharing practices among library staff from Kulliyyah (Faculty) of Information and Communication Technology (KICT), International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). The book focuses on knowledge sharing practices among library staff with special reference to the staff at IIUM Gombak Campus Library. The objective of the study is to establish the extent to which knowledge sharing practices occur among professional library staff in their daily activities. The results of the study revealed that almost all library staff of IIUM Gombak campus library use the Internet for emailing, texting, voice mailing, etc. as part of their communication channel. The study concludes that knowledge sharing practices involve managerial support and individual creativity. Recommendations on how some of these issues can be addressed were also provided.

Barrie Ahmed - 1976 is a holder of MSc in Economics, Business Admin and Political Science from the IUA in Khartoum, Sudan; MHS Masters Degree in Political Science, major in (International Relations) from the IIUM and a second Masters Degree in Library & Info Science (MLIS) in IIUM. He is currently furthering his PhD Degree.
