Human Resource(HR) analytics is a system that helps to process the functions of HR management analytically and rapidly to improve the current situation of the organisation. Focus on HR analytics has increased steadily over the past decade as evidenced by the continuously growing demand of it in the management decision making process. ‘HR professionals are clamouring for “analytics”- the magic numbers that will help them combat attrition, hire the highest of high performers, and predict the future success of the organisation. This book is an outcome of an empirical study of 225 Information Technology, Information Technology Enabling Services, Telecom, Manufacturing and Automobile companies operating in Chennai, India. It narrates about a questionnaire which consisted of 120 items inclined to measure about the HR functional variables. The authors used correlation for associating variables,Analysis of variance based on the demographics, regression to find the prediction of exogenous on endogenous variables. The data analyses projected that Organisations are confronting challenges in retaining their talented employees and in focusing on organisational development.

V. Bharathi Kannamma and Dr. G. Rajini are from VELS University, Chennai, India. The latter is Professor and Head -MBA (Integrated) and the former is her Scholar in Master of Philosophy. Dr. G.
