Initially, five materials were chosen to study the condition and then the first phase of greater material combinations are chosen P600, Al-alloy steel to 5754 and it has been mathematically model at various welding parameters like beam oscillation by varying the diameter of the oscillation.

Dr. Soumitra Dinda completed bachelor degree in metallurgical and Materials Engineering (MME) from Jadavpur University, India in 2010. Then he obtained his Master's and PhD degree from MME Department, IIT-Kharagpur, India in 2013, 2019. Now joined as a postdoctoral fellow at Materials Science and Engineering, University of Toronto, Canada.
