The study is a descriptive research on factors influencing teaching and learning among teachers and students of College of Nursing and Midwifery Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria, West Africa. Nursing is a unique profession in the health team that ensures the care of the public. Nursing education lays the foundation for the nursing practice and the care given. The findings of this study will influence nursing education policy, nursing practices, recruitment of qualified nurse tutors in Colleges of Nursing and Midwifery. Nursing education is the key to good nursing care and healthy citizenry so the factors identified in this study should be taken into consideration to improve the quality of nursing education in Nigeria and globally.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Authors nursing career started at Ajayi Memorial Hospital, Lagos State, Nigeria in 1995-1997. In 2013 he was posted as a Nurse Educator to the school for Post Basic Ophthalmic Nursing at the same hospital, where he currently works. He is happily married with children.
