It is a hydrologic and physiographic unit that offers a very good planning and implementing soil conservation water harvesting, protection programmes. The watershed development programmes is the basic need for integrated and management of the land and water resources which provide life support for rural communities. There are several watershed programmes like DPAP National Watershed Development Programme the Desert Development Programme, Hariyali etc. However, there is no coordination between the different agencies involved in watershed programme in Kurnool District.

Dr. S. Maddileti had brilliant academic career obtaining his Master Degree with First Class from S.V.U PG Centre, Kavali and Ph.D Degree from S.V.U Tirupati. He has qualified SET-2015 in the subject Economics. He has more than 12 years teaching experience. He has attended several National / State Level seminars presented papers on various topics.
