Nowadays, dentistry is increasingly seeking interaction between its various areas to obtain new alternatives for dental treatment to be carried out effectively. Dental and periodontal changes can affect smile aesthetics, and good planning has been the key to good treatment execution, as is the case with digital planning. This paper presented the objective of showing a clinical case of reestablishing smile aesthetics through Periodontics and interdisciplinarity with other areas of dentistry, using the DSD (Digital Smile Design) tool. The treatment was done through the association of internal bevel gingivectomy periodontal surgery and osteotomy in some elements, and subsequent rehabilitation with ceramic laminates in the anterior teeth. In view of the case, it is concluded that interdisciplinarity among the various areas of dentistry is of great importance to ensure success in the implementation of effective treatment, promoting adequate dental aesthetics and maintaining the health of periodontal tissues.
