The word ‘esthetics’ comes from the Greek word ‘aistheticos’, meaning of ‘sense perception’. “Esthetics is a branch of philosophy dealing with beauty and beautiful, especially with judgment of taste concerning them”. Esthetics has become increasingly important in the practice of modern dentistry and is synonymous with a natural, harmonious appearance. It influences to a large extent the social acceptance and well being of the individual. A more esthetically pleasing face generally is more symmetrically and better proportioned than one that is less esthetically pleasing.

Dr. Mohammad Kashif Noorani passed his BDS in Bapuji Dental College and Hospital, Davangere Karnataka and passed his MDS in Dept of Prosthodontics from HKE's S. Nijalinagappa Institute of Dental Sciences and Research in 2018. Now he is working as senior lecturer in Dept of Prosthodontics, Dr. B.R. Ambedker Institute of Dental Sciences and Hospital.
