Human rights, seen as a utopia 100 years ago, have now become a reality of everyday politics and life, having become an ideal in the north, the south, the east and the west in every corner of the world today. All people, regardless of political regimes, have come to demand their rights and freedoms. In this sense, there is a global awareness and a struggle with different levels and methods at the same time. Human rights, transformed into an area of solidarity by the international public, shake even the most authoritarian and even totalitarian regimes and are subject to a more human and democratic transformation. Human rights are primarily aimed at a social and global order aimed at changing and transforming the status quo, where violations of rights are absent or minimized. Since human rights are a universal set of values, international protection mechanisms are also needed to protect them. The purpose of this study is to demonstrate that Islam is in general compatible with human rights and in particular with the Declaration of Human Rights, taking into account both the debates in the Islamic world and the concerns of the international community.
