De nacionalidad congoleña, soltero, el ingeniero Chapelle Kabangu Kanga nació el 31 de octubre de 1992 en Lubumbashi (Haut-Katanga). Ingeniero en Sistemas Informáticos por la Universidad Protestante de Lubumbashi. Activista de los derechos humanos. Su campo de acción para luchar contra el acoso sexual son las escuelas y las universidades.
