We are witnessing a significant increase in the frequency of caesarean sections in the world due to a change in its indications. The concern to deliver a child in the best possible condition has seen the indications for the upper route increase in crescendo. This can be done according to the chronology in relation to the beginning of labor, according to the maternal, fetal or mixed interest...The delivery of pregnant women through prenatal consultation allows for early diagnosis of maternal pathologies during pregnancy, reducing even more the rate of emergency cesarean sections, which are a source of complications.

Doctor TADJ Keltouma is a lecturer in Obstetrics Gynecology, holder of a DEMS in 2000. She is also head of the prenatal diagnosis unit in the Obstetrics Gynecology Department of the University Hospital of Oran.Doctor ZELMAT Setti Aouicha: Professor of anesthesia and intensive care since 2019.
