The lack of perspectives for the expansion of investments in the public education system in Brazil dramatically encourages the search for alternative mechanisms for quality education, especially in the area of science in elementary school. This research is based on some prerogatives built from studies and experiences, involving investigative methodologies about Science teaching, based on the triad teaching, research and extension. The study aimed to investigate how Active Methodologies influence the perception of students in Science Teaching by Doing Science. The methodology used wasqualitative, exploratory type participant observation. The students participated on a voluntary basis, conditioned only by their signature of the Free and Informed Consent Form.

Der Autor hat einen Abschluss in Agronomie von der Staatlichen Universität von Bahia (1988), einen Master in Tierwissenschaften von der Bundesuniversität von Vale do São Francisco (2010) und einen Doktortitel in Bildung in Lebens- und Gesundheitswissenschaften (Ufsm - Furg) von der Bundesuniversität von Rio Grande do Sul (2019). Derzeit ist er Assistenzprofessor 1 - Fonds. Univasf, Brasilien.
