Barley is the world’s fourth important cereal crop after wheat, rice and maize. Being the most dependable crop in areas where alkali, frost or drought situations occur, it is cultivated in almost all parts of the world. Barley also does well even with brackish/saline water. Dr Manmohan Puniya obtained his Ph.D. Agronomy (2015) from S.K.N. Collage of Agriculture Jobner under SKNAU, Jobner, Jaipur. Dr. Puniya served as Assistant Professor at ARS Talod, Sabarkantha, under SDAU, Gujarat from 2016 to 2018. Dr Puniya was selected in AU Jodhpur as Subject Matter Specialist in April, 2018 and posted at KVK, Phalodi.
