Indium oxide crystallizes in the bixbyite structure. Metal oxide nanostructures are of increasing interest in both fundamental and applied sciences, and among them In2O3 is one of the capable semiconductor materials. The impact of highly sensitive and fast responding gas sensors using In2O3 nanostructures is also discussed and their structural parameters were refined by employing Rietveld techniques using the software JANA 2006. The electron densities were found in different directions and the bonding nature between the atoms were analyzed, using the graphical tools such as PRIMA and VESTA the electron densities in one, two and three dimensions were visualized.
