Periodontal disease is characterized by the loss of connective tissue attachment induced by the presence of periodontal pathogens within the gingival sulcus. The furcation is an area of complex anatomic morphology that may be difficult or impossible to debride by routine periodontal instrumentation. Dr Samistha Sinha, is currently  pursuing her post graduation in Periodontology Department from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut, UP( 2020-2023). She is also the recipient of Young Dental Achiever Award at 3.0 Dasna Dental Conference held in Delhi 2023. She has many accolades in various national poster and paper presentations.
