The objective of this work is to determine, through the questionnaire of learning strategies CEVEAPEU and the questionnaire of teaching styles CEE of the professors and students of the public accounting program of the Universidad Cooperativa de Colombia, Headquarters - Monteria. A research of cognitive approach of transversal descriptive type was carried out, finding among the professors the functional teaching style as the one with the highest preference and that the learning strategies of the students are diverse and without a dominant preference, highlighting the external attribution strategies as the least present.
