The universe of ASD (Autistic Spectrum Disorder) leads us to expand the possibilities for these children's learning. The search for methodologies that enable the construction of the educational process at school, in the field of Specialised Educational Care, continues along paths of study and the development of care plans that meet the needs of clients with special educational needs, more specifically in the case of autism. This work suggests thinking about the science of psychomotricity as a possibility for the teaching and learning of children with ASD. Paula Gomes da Silva is a Physical Education teacher in the municipality of Mossoró - RN, a city located in the north-eastern region of Brazil. She completed her full degree at UERN (State University of Rio Grande do Norte) in 2003.1; she specialised in School Physical Education and AEE (Specialised Educational Assistance).
