This book highlights the problem of using sensors and actuators to solve domestic, commercial, agricultural, societal, and industrial problems remotely using the Internet of Things. This book includes the use of IR digital sensors, which can be used for counting objects, obstacle detection, robotics, etc. The DC motor is controlled using a pushbutton and an Arduino. The electric bulb is controlled using the relay, Bluetooth module, and Arduino.The use of the Bluetooth module HC-05 for remote applications to control bulbs, fans, LEDs, etc. In this book, the Arduino and Raspberry Pi are both explained and also used as a practical approach to the Internet of Things. Also, as we know, the IoT Cloud is an essential platform to store data online. So the Thingspeak IoT Cloud is used to read the temperature and humidity using the DHT11 sensor and ESP8266 Wi-Fi module.This book will be really useful to the students of third-year Computer Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering. It will also help the professors who want to teach the IoT Subjects.
