This book seeks to assess Ghanaian Small and Medium-Scale Enterprises (SMEs') readiness for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) Implementation. The book collected data using questionnaires from randomly selected 250 SMEs that were registered members of the Ghana National Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Cape Coast Branch and were operating within the various business sectors within the Ghanaian economic. The findings from the study shows that, there is a significant gap between Ghanaian SMEs' readiness for AfCFTA implementation. The study finds out that although majority of SMEs are capable of innovation and developing new products, they also have limited knowledge of export documentation, trade information and infrastructure, trade finance, and funding for expansion. The book recommends that the government and major stakeholders who have a key interest in AfCFTA should intensify their advocacy and training programmes for SMEs in order to educate SMEs on AfCFTA and help them prepare for export. The stakeholders should also advocate and engage the government and the right authorities to find ways to eliminate or reduce the obstacles Ghanaian SMEs faced.
