Irrigation is an agricultural technique that artificially applies water to plants using methods that best suit the soil and crop. A well-designed irrigation system enables water application uniformity of over 90 per cent, which is considered a good index for irrigation. In this context, the aim was to assess the performance of conventional sprinkler, centre pivot and drip irrigation systems in terms of water distribution and application uniformity.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Agronomist from the Federal University of Ceará - UFC (2015). Founder and Marketing and Project Director of AGRONÔMICA (UFC Junior Agronomy Company). Former CNPQ, Funarbe, Embrapa, Funcap and Fortaleza City Hall scholarship holder. He is currently studying for a Master's degree in the Postgraduate Programme in Agricultural Engineering at the UFC.
