Considering the existing cultural heterogeneity, we feel concerned about the education offered to the entire population, whose interpretation of reality and values are different. Especially in the transitional period from Federal Territory to new State of the Brazilian Federation, whose foundations were being planted, it is opportune to review what has been done in order to respond to the needs of those who settled here in search of better living conditions.
