In recent years, growing attention has been directed toward the impact of probiotics on gut microbiota balance and their role in enhancing the body’s immune system. Research has shown that disruptions in the natural composition of gut bacteria are linked to an increased risk of intestinal inflammation and metabolic disorders. Beneficial bacteria known as probiotics play a vital role in restoring microbial balance, boosting immune defenses, and preventing gastrointestinal diseases. On another front, cancer remains one of the leading causes of death world wide. Recent microbiome studies high light the critical role of gut bacteria in regulating immunity, metabolic functions, and inflammatory responses all of which are closely associated with cancer development and progression. This study explores the potential of probiotics as a supportive tool in both cancer prevention and treatment.By modulating the gut microbiota and enhancing immune responses, probiotics may offer a promising complementary strategy alongside conventional therapies such as chemotherapy and immune therapy.
