Inhaltsangabe

This book examines how corruption-related issues in land administration affect service delivery in the Offinso South Municipality of Ghana. Pre-existing trends in corruption and the effectiveness of land management services in the municipality are analyzed. Findings from the literature indicate a negative relationship between corruption and service delivery, as corruption increases the cost of public goods, reduces public revenue, and undermines service efficiency. The study relies on secondary data on corruption-related issues in land administration. Trend analysis suggests a nonlinear pattern in corruption levels over the study period, while service delivery follows a linear trend. The results reveal a negative correlation between corruption and service delivery within the Offinso Municipal Department of Lands. The analysis is grounded in the corruption model proposed by Shleifer and Vishny (1993), which provides a theoretical framework for examining the impact of corruption on public service provision.
