Surface roughness is a critical indicator of surface integrity and directly influences the functional performance, wear behavior, and service life of engineering components. Electrical Discharge Diamond Grinding, a hybrid machining process combining electrical discharge erosion and diamond grinding, offers significant advantages in machining hard and difficult-to-machine materials. However, the complex and nonlinear interaction of electrical and mechanical process parameters makes accurate prediction of surface quality challenging. To address this issue, this book employs fuzzy logic-based modeling techniques capable of handling uncertainty, imprecision, and variability inherent in advanced manufacturing processes.
