This book set out to establish the link between scientific and indigenous knowledge in addressing climate change in rural Kenya. The objectives of the study were to identify indigenous knowledge on climate change used by the Nganyi community to determine the extent of indigenous climate change knowledge integration into the programming of Anyole 101.2 Fm and to establish how Anyole 101.2 The ecological model of communication process was used in this study as it highlighted a close relationship between ecology on one hand and message, media and language on the other hand.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

S. Ingabo is currently a senior public relations officer at the NCPD. He is an alumnus of Masinde Muliro and Daystar universities. He is a development communication scholar with interests in media relations, strategic communication, crisis communication, corporate and public communication and advocacy.
