Today, distance learning (DL) has the potential to modernize the higher education system in Algeria, open universities to new audiences, reduce the costs of education, upgrade teachers' skills, and expand access to higher education. The purpose of this study is to find out how biology students who are discovering ICTs while studying at an Algerian university (Badji Mokhtar University in Annaba) are adopting the tools of a distance learning platform.
