Diabetes mellitus is the most common metabolic disorder characterized by chronic hyperglycaemia and disturbances of carbohydrate, lipid, and protein metabolism due to absolute or relative deficiency of insulin secretion and action. In diabetic care, screening for microalbunuria, estimation of creatinine and glycemic control monitoring are required for early detection of Diabetic nephropathy and timely therapeutic intervention. Therefore present study aimed to assess the association of Glycosylated Hb with Microalbumin and Creatinine levels in Diabetes Mellitus. The Present study concluded that estimation of microalbumin, creatinine, UACR and HbA1c is required for early detection and treatment of diabetic nephropathy.
