Inhaltsangabe

Heart disease is the leading cause of abnormal mortality, and the rate is rising. Multiple cycles and high-resolution gathering produce a lot of ECG data, which reduces its portability and transmission efficiency. This calls for ECG signal compression. This research aims to compress wired and wirelessly recorded ECG data using Biopac and Bio Radio devices and demonstrate its implementation on aPYNQ-Z2 platform. Its feasibility and effectiveness are investigated. To record ECG signals from two distinct devices-Biopac and Bio Radio-with an ECG lead-1 and lead-2 configuration, a database was made specifically for this purpose. They were utilized to get ECG data from individuals aged 22, 23, 24, 35, 37, and 49. Singular Value Decomposition has been deployed to compress all ECG data on the PYNQZ2 PS Part, which provides a Python programming environment. To evaluate the result of compression, several parameters were computed, including compression ratio, percentage root mean square difference, percentage root mean square residual energy, and space savings.
