The COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly accelerated the digital transformation of organizations, redefining the strategic role of the Human Resources (HR) function in a lasting way. This article presents a critical review of academic and professional literature with the aim of analyzing how this health crisis has contributed to repositioning the HR function, traditionally administrative, as a central strategic player in organizational performance and resilience. The methodological approach is based on a reasoned and thematic selection of scientific works, institutional reports and professional barometers published mainly between 2020 and 2025. The analysis is based on an interpretative and comparative reading of the selected contributions, making it possible to identify the main dynamics, convergences and tensions relating to the digitization of HR practices in the post-COVID context. The results of this review highlight a significant acceleration in the adoption of digital HR tools, the generalization of new hybrid work modes, as well as a strengthening of the strategic role of HR in the management of human resources.
