The first described pathogenic mammalian trypanosome is Trypanosoma evansi by Griffith Evans in 1880, in Indian horses and camels. It is the most distributed animal trypanosome that infected the wild and domesticated animals in Africa, Asia, Europe, and America as well as it is widespread in Egypt. Trypanosomiasis, in most cases, defined as either acute or chronic in both natural and experimental infected animals . The pathogenic effects of T. evansi including fever, loss of weight and appetite, anaemia, loss of productivity, cachexia, nervous signs, and death.
