This is a biomechanical research project. The goal is to study wear and friction issues in the hip joint. A numerical study using ABAQUS was conducted to identify the various parameters that influence stress concentration. The finite element model allowed us to identify the most influential parameters for improving the product and selecting the most appropriate materials.
